Mel Wendt
Mel started the real estate brokerage business in February 1964 with his father-in-law Elmer Holtz. The business was known as Holtz and Wendt Realty Inc until Elmer Retired in 1978. At that time, the name of the business was changed to Mel Wendt Realty Inc, and the office was built at its current location on the corner of State Highway 36 and South Loomis Road. Mel is very experienced in the real estate business, and thoroughly enjoys working with both Buyers and Sellers. He takes special pride in offering a complete full-service brokerage, giving the company's customers and clients the service they deserve. Mel lives in the Wind Lake area with his wife Glenell. Jim Wendt
Jim obtained his degree in Business Administration from Caroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1985, and immediately entered the family business as a Real Estate Broker. Shortly thereafter, he obtained his appraisal education, and became a Wisconsin Certified Residential Appraiser. In addition to brokerage services for marketing a wide variety of real estate, Jim performs numerous appraisals for bank lending, private litigation, and tax appeal purposes.
